Welcome To Hell

We were delighted to be asked to compose the music for Welcome To Hell a sinfully good podcast created and hosted by comedians Dane Buckley & Daniel Foxx, who judge outrageous confessions from their listeners, Hell’s newest arrivals.

is the podcast that celebrates the salacious, basks in the bitchy, and revels in a good old fashioned gossip. Because down here the tea is hot, and the conversation is even hotter.

Our music brief was to create something quirky, cheeky and theatrical. Dan & Dane wanted to start with a church-choir-meets-satan style crash as we plummet down before arriving at the front desk of Hell, followed by a naughty little vamp as a Hell’s Angel enters stage left with a cocktail to find out all the goss. They wanted some operatic vocal licks to be present - a parody nod to White Lotus - and sticking with organic, orchestral instrumentation to keep it more traditionally theatrical.
