We were really pleased to write the music for the sitcom pilot of GIRLBAND, produced by Those Three Girls, winners of the British Comedy Guide’s The Sitcom Mission 2013.
A true 90s girl at heart, and a big fan of the Girl Power brit-pop of the era, Nikki was especially delighted when we got the call for this one! We came up with a high-energy theme, which twists and combines top-line references from songs by the likes of Spice Girls, All Saints and B*Witched, but utilising more current music production & arrangement to keep it feeling fresh. We especially wanted to including spoken call-outs about friendship to fit with the theme of the show and the 90s ‘Girl Power’ movement.
The pilot has its industry premiere to an invited audience on June 15th 2017, we have everything crossed for Those Three Girls that the pilot gets picked up!
