A new musical by Alex Loveless

We had a fun day recording this new musical live at the New Wimbledon Studio Theatre, where we took our location recording rig to capture both a matinee and evening show, in order to be able to mix the ‘best bits’ of each. The challenge for this project was recording a show with almost all the cast in actor-musician roles, and which used no sound reinforcement. This involved hiding a lot of radio mics around the set, in instruments and in costumes, and we were really pleased with the results.
