We had such a great Christmas in Birmingham, working as music supervisors, orchestrators and music producers for this inaugural show developed by the amazing team at the Birmingham Hippodrome’s New Musical Theatre Department. Penned by our pals Robyn Grant and Tim Gilvin, and directed by the brilliant Anthony Lau, we introduced the tiny people of the Midlands to the world of musical theatre, with an amazing multi-talented actor-musician cast.
In a cosy village nestled in the snowy mountains, the Shnootnoot Winter Festival is fast approaching. Astrid is busy practising to play with her school band. Everyone wants her to keep in time, but Astrid just wants to march to the beat of her own drum. Meanwhile, deep in the Winterwood, The Jingleclaw awakes, a mischievous monster who can’t STAND festive cheer and music.
We also had the joy of recording this incredible cast and mixing and producing The Jingleclaw EP, which is out on all major platforms.
“A spectacularly dazzling, foot-tapping, extravagant and original musical that is truly not one to miss”
