We had an inspiring start to 2017, working at Abbey Road Studios with the creative team of the Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games. We spent the month of December 2016 preparing click tracks, Pro Tools sessions, and producing demo tracks for all the music for the opening & closing ceremonies of the games in May. Joe was lucky enough to go along to assist at sessions with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in January, and traditional instrumentalists then added their instrumentation at a studio in Baku.

We were pleased to orchestrate and produce this version of the theme from Swan Lake for our friends at Storynory, with lyrics written & performed by their songwriter Gabriella Burnel, to accompany an audiobook of the folk tale for The Dorchester Collection. The audiobook was to feature on their children’s entertainment channel on TVs in suites throughout their collection of hotels.
